Chandla

Founder
Chandla is the Owner and lead editor at Socially Wed. She will be your initial point of contact and assist you in developing your brief of content for your dream day. Chandla launched Socially Wed in March 2023 after finding herself lost in her Insta algorithm, falling in love with all the raw intimate moments captured on a wedding day.

Emily

Creator
Emily stepped into the content creation world after falling in love with photography and wanting to explore more of what the industry had to offer. When she was given an opportunity to shoot content at her first wedding, Emily new she was on the right career path. Witnessing the love between two people and being able to play a special part of a couples day is something that Emily cherishes and feels very lucky to be a part of.

Georgia

Lead Creator
With a bubbly personality and years of experience in the social media and content creation landscape, Georgia perfectly captures the moments of your day while making you feel at ease and excited! Georgia loves love, and being apart is so special for her as she’s currently planning her own wedding and gets to take inspiration from every wedding she attends. In her spare time, she loves to travel with her partner and drink multiple strawberry matchas a day.

Favourite moment to capture: Towards the end of the first dance when the newlyweds call guests to join them on the dance floor. Nothing warms my heart more than seeing all your guests slow dance with one another, loved up couples, friends, aunts, uncles, and grandparents who might not have danced together in YEARS! We often forget how connected we can feel through dance, and I absolutely adore watching everyone’s eyes light up as they remember and feel love completely in that moment.

Favourite venue to shoot at: Now this is a hard one! There are so many beautiful venues across the South East Queensland Region that I absolutely love. My favourite to shoot at I would say is Hillside Carool. I adore intimate weddings and anything that gives ‘back yard of your dream home’ energy.

Emily


Favourite moment to capture: The moment the groom see’s his bride for the first time is a very emotional and intimate part of the day to capture. I really have to hold back tears filming it, it is so beautiful to witness.

Favourite venue to shoot at: I am a sucker for a beautiful backdrop, which is why I absolutely love shooting at venues such as Fig Tree. It is really hard to not get a good shot, especially when you get beautiful shadows and light forming on the couple as they make their way around the gardens.

Georgia


Favourite moment to capture: My favourite moment to capture is the vows. The raw and real emotion gives me chills everytime without a doubt. Not only capturing the couple but also the reactions of family and friends. Something that couples don’t get to see but love to look back on.

Favourite venue to shoot at: So hard to choose, there are so many amazing venues in South East Qld and Northern NSW. However, if I had to choose one that I’d return to over and over again, it would be Byron Earth Houses in Clunes NSW. For me, nothing beats the moody European look this venue has. No matter the styling it always looks amazing and captures perfectly for content.
